Dapagliflozin

Risk of hypoglycemia may be increased when dapagliflozin is used concomitantly with insulin. Concomitant use may require lower doses of insulin to reduce hypoglycemia risk.

Risk of hypoglycemia may be increased when dapagliflozin is used concomitantly with sulfonylurea insulin secretagogues. Concomitant use may require lower doses to reduce hypoglycemia risk.

Concomitant use of dapagliflozin with lithium may decrease serum lithium concentrations. Monitor serum lithium concentration more frequently during dapagliflozin initiation and dosage changes.
