Mometasone

Caution should be exercised when considering the co-administration of mometasone furoate nasal spray with long-term ketoconazole and other known strong CYP3A4 inhibitors (e.g., ritonavir, cobicistat-containing products, atazanavir, clarithromycin, indinavir, itraconazole, nefazodone, nelfinavir, saquinavir, telithromycin) [see Clinical Pharmacology (12.3) ] .

Caution should be exercised when considering the co-administration of mometasone furoate nasal spray with long-term ketoconazole and other known strong CYP3A4 inhibitors (e.g., ritonavir, cobicistat-containing products, atazanavir, clarithromycin, indinavir, itraconazole, nefazodone, nelfinavir, saquinavir, telithromycin) [see Clinical Pharmacology (12.3) ] .

Strong CYP3A4 inhibitor (cobicistat-containing products) may increase systemic exposure to mometasone and risk of systemic corticosteroid side effects; caution advised.
