Description
Concomitant use with corticosteroids can cause hypokalemia and has been associated with cardiac enlargement and congestive heart failure. Patients should be observed closely for hypokalemia.
Mechanism
Amphotericin B is a potassium-depleting agent; corticosteroids enhance potassium depletion
